PPI Engineering Ltd have been ISO 9001:2008 certified since 2015 with the certification being consistently awarded by Alcamus ISOQAR, a UK UKAS accredited certification body with particular expertise in quality for Engineering and Supply Chain Management.
Customers’ within the sectors in which PPI Engineering operate require exceptional quality meeting specific criteria; attaining ISO standards enable PPI to deliver that.
The repeated achievement is one PPI are particularly proud of as it demonstrates a commitment to providing the highest level of quality to customers every day. In order to achieve certification, a process based quality management system is utilised ensuring efficiency which provides the highest possible value to customers.
The certification demonstrates PPI’s continual efforts to improve and reflects the on-going investment in technology, development and process maturity being made by the company.
PPI Engineering’s journey towards achieving ISO 9001:2008 began in June 2014. The registration process took the combined efforts of all employees; effective communication and appropriate training was key to a successful implementation.
The result: assurance that the whole organisation works in accordance with company procedures which have achieved status as a certified Quality Management System.
PPI are a certified JOSCAR supplier
The Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register (JOSCAR) allows purchasers in the Aerospace, Defence, Security & Space sectors to identify qualified suppliers. This accreditation is valued in high regard and indicates that PPI have been through a rigorous process in order to demonstrate the correct capabilities, commitment and appropriate credentials. Among other areas JOSCAR evaluates company security, accreditations’, corporate social responsibility, ethical operations and financial records.
This respected accreditation system for suppliers enables purchasers to trade with pre-qualified organisations in confidence. JOSCAR membership is designed to improve efficiency of the supply chain process by adding assurance that only the highest quality products and solutions can be sourced using their database. Further guaranteeing that the suppliers listed comply with best practices.
